At Broad Service, we are proud to announce our participation in the implementation of the new Virtus space at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), an innovative centre for virtual research driven by funding from the European Next Generation programme. This project has been conceived to provide the university and companies in the Galician audiovisual sector with access to state-of-the-art virtual production technology.
Integration of the University of Santiago de Compostela’s ‘Virtus’ space with advanced Brainstorm technology
- Corporate, Educational

The Virtus space was officially presented on 23 October at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the USC, in a ceremony presided over by the Rector of the university and with the participation of members of the government team and the educational and audiovisual community. This centre not only fulfils the USC’s own research and knowledge transfer objectives, but also provides the Galician audiovisual sector with an advanced platform for virtual production, with cutting-edge technologies that allow the creation of 3D content in real time, augmented reality and virtual scenography.
Broad Service has been the company in charge of integrating Brainstorm technologies in this space, including its advanced virtual studio systems, augmented reality and graphics through InfinitySet and Aston solutions. In addition, we have integrated PTZ and studio cameras with tracking, lighting systems, mixers and audio, creating a flexible and professional environment for the creation of audiovisual content. This space provides users with the same advanced technologies used by the world’s leading broadcasters and content creators.

This new project reinforces the ongoing collaboration between Broad Service and Brainstorm, with whom we have worked on numerous high-level projects, both nationally and internationally. The joint experience in the field of integration of virtual production solutions has allowed us to offer the USC and the Galician audiovisual sector an innovative working environment fully adapted to the current market requirements.
The relationship between Broad Service and USC is a reflection of our ability to integrate advanced technologies in the academic and professional environment. This project is another example of our commitment to the training of new professionals in the audiovisual sector and research in emerging technologies.
At Broad Service, we continue to offer comprehensive solutions, combining integration expertise with the latest technological innovations to shape cutting-edge projects that drive creativity and evolution in the audiovisual sector.
