Brainstorm, AEQ, Telos Alliance, and AKG are among the technology providers for the state-of-the-art visual radio studio that Broad Service has provided to RTV Melilla, a project that not only renews traditional radio infrastructure but also transforms it into a multi-format environment.

The new studio, designed for generic and cross-platform use, allows for the creation of content for radio, podcasts, streaming broadcasts, and even television production. The environment is integrated with RTV Melilla’s television area, making it a natural extension of the station’s audiovisual environment. This synergy allows the studio to be used as a hybrid content production platform, capable of adapting to multiple formats and audiences: from a visual radio magazine to an interview for social media or live event coverage.

Among its most notable features is the incorporation of Brainstorm’s Edison PRO system. This virtual set and visual radio solution combines automated multi-camera production, dynamic real-time graphics, and immersive environments, ideal for both live broadcasting and distribution on digital networks and platforms.
Sound control is handled by the new AEQ Capitol IP Plus digital console, integrated with the AudioPlus automation system, also from AEQ. Interoperability is another pillar of the project: protocols such as NDI and Dante, together with the Telos VX Duo telephone system, enable efficient management of IP audio and video signals with low latency, offering a fully digital and scalable workflow. Voice capture has been entrusted to AKG P420 microphones.
