Broad Service, a company specializing in audiovisual and broadcast solutions, has completed the modernization of studios 101 and 102 at RTVE’s Casa de la Radio by installing and integrating state-of-the-art LED screens from manufacturer SHARP/NEC. The project included the planning, design, integration, and commissioning of complex audiovisual systems, ensuring that the infrastructure complies with the quality, safety, and energy efficiency standards required in professional production environments.
Modernization of Studios 101 and 102 at RTVE’s Casa de la Radio with SHARP/NEC LED screens
- Broadcast

Studio 101 has been equipped with a 9.1 x 1.7-meter modular LED screen, consisting of two sections joined at a 120º angle, optimizing visibility from different points in the studio. Studio 102 has been equipped with a 4.8 x 1.7-meter screen, adapted to the specific dimensions and requirements of this space. Both screens use the NEC FE015i3 series with Flip-Chip SMD technology, ensuring high contrast, energy efficiency, and minimal heat generation, critical factors for continuous operation in broadcast environments.
Custom-designed floor-mounted brackets have been designed and manufactured, incorporating acoustic panels and protective covers that improve sound intelligibility and conceal the cabling and mounting structure, contributing to a safe and functional working environment. The solution delivered has been comprehensive, including both the screens and the entire operating ecosystem required.

Content flow is managed using Resolume Arena software, widely used in professional projection and broadcast environments, which allows layers of video, graphics, images, and visual effects to be superimposed in real time. Integration with Elgato’s Stream Deck+ controller provides an intuitive interface, facilitating operation, process automation, and the incorporation of dynamic content without the need for significant additional resources.
The project has equipped the studios with tools that improve flexibility and versatility in audiovisual production, offering new operating dynamics, optimizing the use of space, and ensuring a quality visual experience for broadcasters and guests. The modernization reinforces RTVE’s commitment to technological innovation and convergence between radio and audiovisual formats.

Broad Service’s accumulated experience in integrating audiovisual solutions has been decisive in the execution of the project, consolidating its position as a strategic integrator in the broadcast sector. The infrastructure delivered ensures a robust, scalable system that is ready to evolve with future technological needs, offering sustainable solutions that combine operational efficiency with excellence in the communication experience.
